Staff fantastic. Made a massive difference to my brother's quality of life. Engaging and giving him purpose. Can't rate them highly enough for what each and every one does. They consistatly go above and beyond to ensure that each resident is made to feel like family,giving of themselves on days off to accompany residents to weddings and special occasions. Recently put on the best birthday tea for our family. Many thanks to all involved in home baking and balloon blowing. Please listen to Drummond Grange CD. A helping hand by Susanne Watson. It's on Spotify or buy CD from reception,to keep the activities funds strong for residents. Each member of staff has also given great help and advice to myself on the care and encouragement of my brother. An example of how far the wonderful staff go is the recording and singing on the CD. My mum was a resident of Drummond Grange for approximately 12 weeks during which time she was looked after by caring staff. However, my siblings and I want to let anyone considering placing a loved one at this facility, to think about it carefully. While most of the carers/nursing staff were helpful and kind, the same cannot be said for the accounting/billing/management personnel. Getting an understandable and detailed breakdown of costs is difficult to obtain. Refundable deposits turn out to be eaten up by "management costs" and other costs that they do not fully explain. Mum was also misdiagnosed with having cancer, a diagnosis which was later thankfully proven to be incorrect. You may want to consider other facilities before Drummond Grange.
