Paul and David are warm and friendly hosts. The location is beautiful and only 20 mins from Glenshee skiing. The room we had was big, warm and functional. Beds very comfy. It would also be a great place to bring a load of friends or family for an occasion and holiday. Love it!

Loved the location. The service. Atmosphere etc. The new owners are so helpful. I had one of the cottages, which was beautifully done. A lovely room. My friend had another cottage, but although it was nicely done. It wasn't up to the same specification. The rooms were cold overnight. But after taking with the new owner in he morning. It was felt that because we had booked so late, the heating had gone on late in those rooms. and even though the radiators were toasty hot. The rooms were big and hadn't fully warmed through. If you go in the winter. Take something warm fr during the night. Otherwise, the place is great I loved it and would like to go back. With a heated blanket

Were just back from our stay at the Strathardle Lodge and we (myself and my better half) just wanted to say what a wonderful experience we had. We stayed in the small cottage (so the king suite) which was extremely comfortable, cosy and well decorated. The shower was fantastic with excellent pressure and the bed was big and extremely comfortable. The setting is peaceful and has plenty of gorgeous scenery around but still not far from other major towns, so location is perfect to be near but not bang in the middle of it all. We also loved the cosy rooms in the main house (all superbly decorated) which we enjoyed a lovely glass of wine in. For what we paid its excellent value for money! It truly is. We were however more blown away with the warm welcome and friendly care from Paul and indeed Beryl (hello) that made us feel so at home and ease that was the icing on the cake! Excuse the pun. The breakfast in the morning was delicious!! It set us up for the day, thats for sure! Thank you for taking such good care of us, we cant wait to come back already. (FYI this was our first ever stay). Thank you very much. Carlos & David.
