        Just returned from a week at Stalker's lodge (family of 5) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Very peaceful, lots of nature all around (red squirrels, deer, variety of birds etc), great fun to kayak on the loch, plenty of local walks and lots of interesting places not far away to visit. The cottage itself was comfortable (very warm; in fact we had to turn off all the heating) and spacious. Only negatives were a somewhat infuriating dishwasher, and poor broadband (1mbps). However, despite what is advertised, there is decent 4G coverage at the cottage. We were seeing 10mbps or more (plenty to stream movies/sport etc). But to get this you will need band 20 (800MHz) on your phone and a mobile service provider that supports band 20 (for example EE and Vodafone do, Plusnet do not - at the time of writing).
