Glenshee Glamping

Me and my Partner came to Glenshee Glamping in March. We had the place to ourselves and we loved it. We had our own glamping pod with Tea and coffee, a kettle and a bed. Outside was our own firepit. There was also a electric heater which kept the pod warm on a cold night. Had our own toilet and shower facility's which were only yards from the pod. The kitchen area is amazing with all you need along with gas stoves and fireplace inside to keep yourself warm. You are in the middle of fields and surrounded by nature. What we really wanted. Would recommended it to anyone! Would recommended the portable hot tub, was such a an experience. The family that own it are very helpful and friendly. Also get to meet Donkeys, Lama', Chickens and Ducks.

Our children were out and about on the premises all day and spent time with the many animals and other children. Close by there are many opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking through the wild Highlands and fishing. The trip and subsequent visit to Balmoral Castle, the summer residence of the Royals, was particularly beautiful. The accommodations are simple but stylish and define glamping. If you are there, you should definitely book the wood fire-heated outdoor pool from which you have a beautiful view of the sunset behind the hills of the Highlands. Die Atmosphre und die Aussicht auf die Highlands sind wunderschn und Helena und Nathan mit ihrer Familie sind die perfekten Gastgeber, die alles dafr tun dass man entspannen kann. Unsere Kinder waren den ganzen Tag auf dem Gelnde unterwegs und haben Zeit mit den vielen Tieren und anderen Kindern verbracht. In nchster Nhe gibt es viele Mglichkeiten fr outdoor Unternehmungen wie Wanderungen durch die wilden Highlands und angeln. Besonders schn war die Fahrt und der anschlieende Besuch von Schloss Balmoral, dem Sommer-Sitz der Royals. Die Unterknfte sind schlicht aber stilvoll und definieren Glamping. Wer dort ist sollte auf jeden Fall den Holzfeuer-beheizten Outdoor Pool buchen von dem aus man einen wunderschnen Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang hinter den Hgeln der Highlands hat. Wir haben es geliebt dort zu sein und waren lange nicht mehr so entspannt wie bei unserer Abreise. Vielen Dank!

Our trip was exactly what we were looking for- scenic, relaxed, and stress free (as it can be with 2 kids!) The hosts were friendly and helpful but leave you to get on with things, which I personally prefer to over eager hosts! The pod had everything we needed, and the Bothy was simple and well organized. The kids loved the animals, and the archery lesson. The biggest hot had to be the hot tub- definitely worth renting for outside your pod
