Having made a booking and paid a deposit I did not receive an invoice. I queried this, but was told if I paid more money I would then receive an invoice. In light of the Covid shut down, I asked to postpone. I was ignored. I asked again and was ignored. I have never been able to get hold of them to discuss and never got my hire, nor my money back. Very upsetting experience.

I recently won a money small claims case against this trader after + 12 months. It was a dreadful experience. Previously, I had had great experiences renting a motorhome with 2 other companies. I chose to rent from Ingrid and her husband due to a lack of availability in the other 2 companies that had provided me an excellent service. Ingrid simply ignored any communication and reneged on any friendly compromise we offered (and which they had initially accepted). Completely unprofessional. I served the judge's ruling upon the trader earlier this summer but their strategy since last year has been to simply ignore any communication in the hope that it would disappear. For anyone who needs further evidence, I reported them to Highland Council Trading Standards, who had reached out to me, validating my information. Don't make the same mistake we made: if the other companies (with plenty of positive feedback) have their RVs booked out, pospone your holidays or you'll end up losing money (800 in our case) and your peace of mind.
