Auchinairn Medical Practice

Seems that the doctors don't realise we are mostly over Covid....It still takes between 2 or 3 weeks just to get a telephone appointment....Last week it took me 42 attempts just to get someone to answer the phone..I don't believe in front desk staff asking patients medical questions..They are not qualified...Others I know say similar but don't want to " rock the boat ".... The doctors themselves are excellent, but the current system is absolutely useless..

Always try to be as patient as possible BUT the admin/reception are overworked or....... I asked for something 3weeks ago and have been put off by reception every week. Another friend asked for same thing and got it in 3 days. I'm still waiting and it's so bad , I've been left in pain for no good reason, I feel I need to make an official complaint

Excellent GP practice. I have always had exceptionally good experiences when dealing with the surgery.

It is ridiculous trying to get through to this surgery, called day before told couldn't book a telephone appointment get told to call at 8.45 in morning, get through eventually at 9.30 to get told no appointments, tell the receptionist am in agony and want advice about starting tablets coz by back pain is really bad through endemetriosis ask for just even 2 minute call to speak to someone and get told no one available, not good enough, I also work in a pharmacy and doesn't matter what time of day we try get get through to someone always atleast 16 or like 10 in the que, the whole system is wrong, it should be changed, other surgeries are so accommodating get through no bother, telephone and receptionist system needs looked at asap

Never had a real issue. If Ive felt the need for me or my kids to be seen Ive said this and been accommodated. And today on a phone consultation had the most empathetic and helpful conversation with Dr Russell. Couldnt have asked for more
