Absolutely fantastic gem of a place, have had a few visits now. Always made to feel welcome, cafe area and puppet shop are lovely. Pips and Panda at the Mermaid pool was magical and my niece absolutely loved it from start to finish as did my mum and I. Be sure to also check out for dates for the behind the scene tours which are very informative where you learn the history of the theatre, some secrets to behind the scenes and the hard work that has gone into the various elements including a go at operating some of the puppets. The museum tour is also worth going on, the puppets will stir nostalgia in anyone with familiar television puppet personalities and pelham puppets on display aswell as tradition Punch and Judy sets and styles of puppetry from various parts of the world. Already booked my future visit for May to see Snow White. Yours Puppetually T
