        The team of the Biggar Health Centre is just amazing. We are first time parents of a now 1 year old girl and twice now we were very worried about her wellbeing. Just yesterday I had to collect my baby from nursery after being informed that she was sick and had 39,2 fever. The nursery staff suspected an ear infection. I had phoned Biggar Health Centre late in the afternoon and Dr. Goldie called me back. I still had to take the train from Glasgow to Carstairs and drive up to Biggar and I expected to arrive after 5. Still, Dr. Goldie was willing to see my girl on such short notice. What was for me the most impressive act of kindness that he actually went to the pharmacy which closes at 5 pm to get antibiotics and ibuprofen just in case she needed it. That is the second time now that the staff went above and beyond to help us and our little girl! I am very grateful for the amazing care and despite all the problems in the NHS the people are just amazing.
