Very pleasant and supportive staff. As most libraries in its rank, it does not stock all books, least so 'academic' ones, but the atmosphere and facilities support a quiet place for reading, writing, paid printing, photocopying and lamination. Computers are also available for public use although one is required to be registered with the library to use them. I am also aware there's support for cancer.

The culrul centre as its pronounced locally. Basically the local library when it moved from the old building on the Main Street. Got a couple of activity halls in it as well and they do classes and wee groups and stuff. Remember being a kid and going to a kite building class here during school holidays. Winched ma first GF up the back too during school lunch time before being caught and thrown out. Not sure what happened to the brick statues that adorned the front doors of the building, yoofs probably kicked them to bits, more fun than reading a book you see. Anyway get yourself round on a cold wet day and read a book in the warm take your mind off all the hideousness outside.
