An amazing place to be! We went to a friends wedding in Benbecula in June and this place has everything we need for a short 2 night stay. Lovely host, friendly neighbourhood and magnificent scenery. Village store with fuel just round the corner (check opening time). Clean shower, well equipped kitchen and wifi (oh yes). Pod is cosy with electric socket. Highly recommended. ps after 740miles this is like landing on a fairy tale island

We stayed in the family bunk room, it was basic, clean and very comfortable. The shared bathroom was clean and the shower was hot. The kitchen had plenty of pots and pans, fridges, washing machine and cooking space. There was lots of information available in the kitchen about the surrounding area and Duncan and Lucy were very friendly and informative hosts. A magnificent beach is a 10minute stroll away, great food is available locally.

Stayed here at the end of Day 1 of cycling the Hebridean Way after setting off from Castlebay in the morning. I was pretty tired by the time I arrived so was glad of the hot shower and clean kitchen to cook ourselves an evening meal - there's a shop just up the road, just make sure you arrive in time before it closes (we didn't but the store owner very kindly reopened for us). Duncan greeted us and sorted us without towels (5 for 2) which was a bonus for us as it saved us having to pack them on our bikes. 4 of us to a cosy bunkhouse and a lot of snoring :-) There's bathrooms and showers both outdoors (2) and indoors (2) and a spacious kitchen/dining area. We had a good chat with the others staying there doing various trips on foot/bike/car. The views behind the sheds/bunkhouses for sunset and sunrise are amazing. Good value for money - I see a couple of people complaining about home comforts on here. It's pretty clear from the website what the place is like. We thought it was fine.
