        Like everyone else says - immaculate bunkhouse, well equipped kitchen facilities, great welcome, good location for food and ferry. Travelling on my own meant I was slightly disappointed to be sharing with no one else, almost too quiet here with only the oyster catchers for company. Having been in a wheelchair before, the accessibility features were welcome - ramps, wide doors, accessible bathroom. Really impressed. Visit this area quite frequently, so would like to come back.

        What a great find! We arrived after a long day cycling. The location is stunning and the bunkhouse is immaculate. A shed to store our bikes was a welcome relief as the previous guest house we stayed at in Castlebay had no cover for our bikes which we had to leave outside. The lounge area in the bunkhouse is warm, comfortable and spacious with cooking facilities...on our trip we stated at a guest house and hotel as well as the bunkhouse...The bunkhouse is the one that stood out..Great value for money in a stunning location.

        An amazing night at this beautiful, well equipped eco bunkhouse. After a very wet day on the bikes and a cancelled ferry we were made very welcome at John's Bunkhouse. Very clean, beautifully designed and well thought out, this place was a life saver! A bike store with electricity and lighting, spacious hot showers, comfy beds, USB sockets, a well equipped kitchen and great company turned our soggy disappointment of a cancelled ferry into a great experience. We didn't have time to explore Berneray properly as we got on the early ferry the next morning, so will definitely be back for another stay. Thanks for everything, Rup & Abbie
