Absolutely beautiful food, and a lovely restaurant setting. We loved the turmeric butter; in addition, the lamb, and the fish main courses were utterly fantastic. We were also able to relax after the meal with a leisurely Amaretto each. Thank you again.

The starter for this meal was a salmon gratin type dish served with bread which could have been fresher The main course consisted of Yorkshire pudding one slice of silverside? and one slice lamb which was a very meagre portion considering there was an extra charge for the duo of 2.50 baby potatoes, roast potatoes mixed vegetables and gravy The Plate was presented awash with gravy The lamb was edible around the edges but the centre was so grisly that it could not be cut never mind eaten The beef was just o.k. although overcooked The small potato was cold The roast potato were roasted and hot right through The Yorkshire pudding was stodgy and uncooked in the middle The vegetables were fine When the waitress came to clear the plates she was told why the the Yorkshire pudding and the lamb were not eaten I ate the cold potato to help scoop up the gravy She said she was sorry The bill was presented we payed up and left not ordering a sweet or coffee which we were intending to do when we were discussing our choices over the menu This was an extremely disappointing meal which we were so looking forward to as we have heard that Sunday lunch is so good at Beaumartin Unfortunately it was not the experience we were expecting but did not make a complaint again when paying the bill as other diners were in close proximity and we did not want to interrupt their meals

The Plate was presented awash with gravy
The lamb was edible around the edges but the centre was so grisly that it could not be cut never mind eaten The beef was just o.k. although overcooked The small potato was cold The roast potato were roasted and hot right through The Yorkshire pudding was stodgy and uncooked in the middle The vegetables were fine
When the waitress came to clear the plates she was told why the the Yorkshire pudding and the lamb were not eaten I ate the cold potato to help scoop up the gravy She said she was sorry
The bill was presented we payed up and left not ordering a sweet or coffee which we were intending to do when we were discussing our choices over the menu
This was an extremely disappointing meal which we were so looking forward to as we have heard that Sunday lunch is so good at Beaumartin Unfortunately it was not the experience we were expecting but did not make a complaint again when paying the bill as other diners were in close proximity and we did not want to interrupt their meals
