Maxholme Nursery School

I have sent both my children to Maxholme Nursery after being recommended it by a friend. Both of them love the nursery, children and staff. The transition to school for my daughter was done so well and my son who still attends cant wait to go back after the holidays. The staff create such a warm, fun and caring atmosphere with updates about their day. Thank you so much Maxholme!

My son (3y3m) has attended Maxholm since he turned 2.5 - and it's hand on heart been the best decision for us to have him there. We are very fussy (anxious? attached?) parents who haven't found other nurseries had that warm and fuzzy vibe we were looking for. I knew from the minute we had a settling in play session at Maxholm that it was the place for him. He has the best time in the outdoor setting, enjoys the fact that it's mixed ages together - he learns a lot from the bigger kids, and the staff are like family. The freedom he has, has allowed him to thrive whether its painting, messy play, concentration with some threading activities, construction pretend play, you name it! I will no doubt cry when he leaves Maxholm to go on to school. I really cannot praise this place enough. It's almost like a best kept secret as everyone who sends their kids there knows it's the best nursery ever, our kids THRIVE and the parents are all so welcoming, comforting and nice! The activities the kids do are great, the feedback we get as parents is always thought out and helpful from their teachers, and my son just really loves this place. If we take a walk past the walkway to go down, he gets upset when I say it's not a nursery day. That's a sign of a fantastic place!

My little girl has been attending Maxholme since March and I couldnt speak more highly of the nursery. She absolutely loves the staff and the environment is so friendly and welcoming. I honestly couldnt be happier with the care and attention she receives, and also the staff interaction with parents at drop off and pick up. I recommend Maxholme to anyone looking for a nursery for their little one.

My two youngest children have loved Maxholme Nursery, and my oldest wishes he had attended there! I would recommend it to anyone considering nursery care in the area. Both children really benefited from the individualised care and attention that they received as a result of its smaller size and caring staff. In particular, my daughter who has some additional needs is so settled and happy, I would not consider anywhere else!
