Barrhead Travel Bearsden

Booked a trip for the USA and then onto the Caribbean. During the booking process and the subsequent documentation there was no mention of the documents required to enter either country. Luckily someone advised of the ESTA requirements which can take 6 weeks to process. After hearing this I did my own research to find out the documents required for the Caribbean. I contacted the branch with 11 days to go before we were due to leave to check on my tickets I was advised that 7 - 10 days before my holiday they would be issued. It was only then that there was a throwaway comment made regarding documentation. The trip was fantastic but transfers were shaky to the point we almost didnt get onto the plane on the way home. This is the second time using this company and I wont be going back a third time. Very disappointing.

Where to start with this useless incompetent fraudulent franchise, first of all David at bearsden Barrhead travel may seem nice and know what hes talking about but do not let his repulsing lying words deceive you. They were unorganised from the get go giving us ludicrously expensive hotels in awful areas claiming its the best deal possible, we then dont hear from them for months and months after we book and only find out information by going down not long before our holiday to get it sorted just in time for our holiday. They tell us to pay whenever but paying separate did not work out as when we arrived at the airport we go to get our transport from the hotel and only 3 or our 18 members had travel arranged as they paid later than others so they had to make difficult arrangements to fit us on another coach which is delayed as we had to stop at other hotels when we were assured that we would be getting a private coach to our hotel. Absolute shambles.
