I've been hiring the lesser hall for 4 years for dance fitness classes. The space is always immaculately clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. We got the main hall once which was fantastic, so bright and airy, with a stage. The lesser hall is small with opaque windows. Both have music systems installed. Plenty toilets and a kitchen available.

I visited the makers market on a somewhat rain soaked February Saturday morning. The hall entrance is very unassuming, tucked away as it is on the north side of the building and looking more like an emergency fire exit rather than an entrance/reception to a hall. No sense of destination arrival/welcome here. Once you've figured out which door needs to be pulled/pushed to gain entry, you're then left wondering where to go. Obvious if you know, but I had assumed that a hall would be based on the ground floor. Not so, it upstairs(!) where further anonymous doors continue the voyage of discovery and continued expectation of triggering an alarm or appearance of a security guard to halt your progress. Once you get there, the halls are a pleasant surprise being bright and airy with open views over Bearsden Cross.
