I found the Bennie Museum very interesting. A collection of amazing historic artifacts from the every day life of the people of Bathgate. They have a lot of exposits from the wars but also an old typewriter, a tube TV and a steam radio. A special attraction is a rare D-day rememberance sword. The staff is happy to explain everything with exciting stories. Entrance is free. The free parking place is just next to the cottage that is the home to the little museum.
