In my field as a professional trumpet player, Ive worked with Ben for years now in both live and studio. As an engineer and producer he has the highest of standards and the some of the best ears around. This new venture with Valley is great- hes specced his studio with some amazing gear (seriously- what horn player wouldnt want to play through AEA mics, preamps and a gorgeous SSL desk?). Just finished a horn tracking session with him last week- and the section sound is certainly on par with some of top end studios that Ive worked in. Highly recommend.
