Heat Source Solutions

Where do you start to describe your dealings with Heatsource Solutions. The Owner of the company, is a complete liar. Do not go anywhere this organisation. Their customer service skills are non existant, and do not believe a word that comes out of Ryan Mulheron's mouth. We put our trust in Heatsource to supply a Boiler and install a new Kitchen, but with constant problems with the Boiler and the Thermostat, which are still ongoing, we decided not to go ahead with the Kitchen. Mr Mulheron agreed to repay our deposit, confirming this in a face to face meeting, and then followed that up in writing. The meeting was on the 30th January, and since then he has promised to repay on the 28th Feb and then the 8th March, there was still no sign of any refund. Having got Trading Standards involved, they met with him, and again, he agreed to repay our deposit, but again still no sign of any refund. DO NOT TRUST this man, he never returns any calls, he's always in "meetings" or on a client site, basically his promises are worth nothing, and interestingly seems to be preferred to be paid in cash, I wonder why???. As another reviewer said, you are promised a top of the range boiler, but are supplied with a second rate option. We have had our boiler independently reviewed, and the agreement is, it is not suitable for our needs. I also agree, that some of these other reviewers do not seem real. I would avoid this company like the plague.

As our single skin oil tank was 20 years old It was time to replace it for a bunded tank. Heat Source Solutions came to our rescue a couple of years ago after being fleeced by another boiler company. They were recommended by the Firebird oil boiler company who were trying to help me sort out the mess of an unscrupulous company who had fitted a Firebird boiler, despite the fact I had a sales agreement and paid for a Worcester Bosch! It hadnt been commissioned and also on inspection by Heat Source was lacking in several safety devices. In the end because of the whole experience I had gone through I decided to bite the bullet and have another boiler fitted, a Worcester Bosch. This was done with speed and efficiency in spite of it being done outside in atrocious weather! I still sourced quotes for a new oil tank first, but once again it was Heat Source who came back and actually gave me quote. It seems very difficult in this day and age to get anyone interested in doing the smaller jobs! Once again nothing was too much trouble and Scott went over and above in overcoming difficulties that arose. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ryan and his company and having had a lot of workmen come and go over the past 2 years on a total house refurbishment, I can honestly say its a rarity and a huge relief to find there are some conscientious firms out there. Ps beware of internet searchs where you enter boiler services that then alert companies to quote.... the company who I used first time round even managed to avoid culpability by dissolving their company which meant the court hearing was a waste of time.

My wife and I used Heat Source Solutions to change and replace our oil tank, boiler and water tank. The job took three days to complete, and in that time the two lads (Rory and Ryan) worked extremely hard and went about their business with a minimum of fuss. They arrived on time each morning as promised, which was impressive. Company director Ryan was extremely helpful, from the initial quotes and advice, to offering support and more advice! during the three days instillation. We are both extremely happy with our new heating system and would highly recommend Heat Source Solutions to anyone considering changing their heating system. Hugh and Julia Coulter 19.01.18

Boiler decided to breakdown 1 wk before xmas turned to Heat Source for help guys were great from the point of contact to finish turned up on time really great guys boiler installed and working within a day you would not know they were there have 2 large german shepherds and they worked round them any further plumbing problems they are the first l will call out, first class customer service...

Terrible from start to finish. Do not trust these guys! They charged far too much for what they gave us. They fitted a Vokera boiler which I have since been told by various people is a rubbish, cheap boiler. A few reviews on here by "customers" claim that they fitted them a Worcester bosch boiler but I believe that a lot of the reviews here are fake. So many sound like reviews at first but then end up telling you that Heat source solution offered them other "great services" so really they are more like advertisements. If you read a few reviews they all sound eerily the same and a lot of the reviewers only have 1 review on their Google accounts and they are for Heat source solutions. So many things went wrong with our fitting/whole service it would take me a half hour to type them all. One of the things that was such a big problem was that the salesman who came round to quote us a price led us to believe that they would box in our pipes as part of the price. Later we were told by the guy who fitted everything that he had been told nothing about this and that it wasn't part of the price. We paid more than 4,000 for the system and they would only box our pipes in for an extra 180!! Boxing pipes in would take very little time and plastic boxes are VERY cheap. Also they gave us a list of things that they had supposedly fitted/given us which included a CARBON MONOXIDE Detector (a VERY important piece of equipment) which they had not given us. I have a 1 year old in the house. If we were to have had some kind of leak with carbon monoxide and didn't have that device we could have potentially died. One of my friends personally knew someone who was killedby carbon monoxide poisoning so I know how easily it can happen. I had to ask them to give it to us after the third time they came round. They'd had to come round so many times because 4 out of 5 of our radiators had been leaking. One of the radiators that had leaked had made a large part of my daughters carpet soaking wet and warped all of the underlay. It wasn't a new carpet or anything but that's not the point. At one point I was sure that they were purposely not answering the phone to me so I asked my Mum to call them and they answered her straight away. Stay far away from this company. They are terrible and I WISH I had read an honest review here before I used them. I never usually leave such awful reviews but this company really really upset my husband and I.
