Stayed here for 3 nights. Good location. to explore the outer hebrides as its located in the north of South Uist. Kitchen had all the appliances, oven, fridge etc, however no basics such as tea, coffee and sugar (despite the containers for them sitting there empty). The property smelled of damp throughout so we had to have the windows open most of the time. It appears it was possibly recently renovated with a new bathroom and kitchen suite which look great. While it was clean, there were cobwebs and dog hair everywhere on the sofas and carpets. Great garden out the back with amazing sunsets! Overall good value for money and good location, but felt it could have used a wee bit TLC.

Stunning views, beautifully decorated, and ample space. We stayed for 10 days. The peace and tranquillity of the Outer Hebrides is a must to experience. The lodge has stunning views in nearly every direction (small backup power station close by). Locals are really friendly, and situated on a road which is great for walking the dog along.

This place is a great quiet place to stay its well out the way but still quite central to the island for seeing the south and the north. Place was really clean had everything we needed. Only negative i have is im 6ft4 and the bath is to small for me it could do with a over the bath shower installed but wasn't a massive issue. Place has good wifi we managed to watch netflix on the tv and browse on our phones and tablets at the same time. Living room even over looks a shipwreck.
