Banff Dental Practice

Ive been a loyal customer of Banff Dental for a long number of years but due to the recent experiences and treatment by senior staff and most recent dentist I chose to leave. I had seemed to get a new dentist after every two visits for roughly the past four years, judging by other reviews for the practice I can tell the reasons why as they were the same dentists. The most recent dentist I had there, I only seen twice, once for a filling that fell out two days after she did it, mouth wasnt even numbed properly (and it was a back tooth). The second to go back and check the filling that fell out, she ended up cutting the inside of my check with a disk bit on a drill that I still have problems with because of that. That was the last straw and I asked, who I presume was a practice manager, if I could be seen by another dentist because of the problems I had experienced lately I didnt feel comfortable and she said she didnt believe me, I cant swap dentists because Im registered to the dentist not the practice (which I was told by another dentist afterwards thats all lies) and that they would have to put me back in the waiting list to possibly see another dentist or go somewhere else. I guess she could tell I wasnt impressed because after that she told the receptionist to make sure I was up to date with my payments because she thinks Ill be going somewhere else now, whilst I was stood there! After that she wasnt wrong, after being treated like that I wouldnt recommend going to Banff Dental. I guess it is much easier for them these days to brush people off see them move on rather than having to deal with people problems with their dentists. Shame because some of the staff are really lovely, especially Phillippa and Melanie. Will never be back.

Contacted the practise in banff where I have been 2..3 times in the past a few years back not sure exact date was told I not on the records I asked if they could physically check my dental records as I have definitely been there and would like to know why I not on list obviously there has been a mistake made somewhere not bye myself and seems I have disappeared waiting list I was told 3yrs to get back on list ..maybe..felt like I was just being fobbed off

One or two dentists and reception staff are rude. Dentist can be rough and seem reluctant to help people who are in pain. Can't keep blaming COVID!

The dentist I got didn't have a clue about treating patients with dignity and a bit of respect.I was in pain but the man was so rough I was in worse pain when I came out.He was so nasty and rude and I will never set foot in the place as long as he works there.
