Forglen Estate - Self Catering Cottages

We stayed in the delightful Garden Bovvy. The cottage itself was vey well presented, spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. The furnishings were modern and very clean. The extra large bath was also very welcome after a long day of sightseeing. The location itself was beautiful and situated down a private track, but easy to find. Adjacent to the cottage is a beautiful well kept walled garden, and lovely walks. We stayed late October, so the Autumn leaves falling from the trees and foilage were such amazing colours, with so many varieties and species as you explore the surroundings. There was a beautiful lake and waterfall, with lots of wildlife, we spotted red squirrels, heard owls hooting at night and seen the highland cows. We also enjoyed clear night skies full of shooting stars. We would definately recommend this cottage, it's so peaceful and private, we did not see anyone else during our stay apart from the estate workers. Gilly, our host was great, she made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. If you are looking for a relaxing break, then this is the place. The location suited us very well as we visited Inverness to watch the Dolphins and seals playing on the Firth, Lossiemouth, and surrounding areas. Turiff has a lovely selection of shops and cafes, and the locals are very friendly. Thank you for a perfect stay

Spacious, clean, neutral, airy, fantastic dream come true bathroom, fabulous kitchen to hang out in, great comfy beds and quality linen, quiet hardly any traffic estate road, endless woodland walks, walled garden, water falls, ancient trees, friendly staff, dog friendly, the reclining chairs had me healed from my busy life within seconds. Enchanting. Aching to come back again. Thank you all at Forglen, your doing a wonderful much appreciated service
