Castle of Park

Sadly our trip from Australia had to be cancelled due to Covid so I cant comment on the castle itself. But having had our contract frustrated as we are banned from leaving our own country, the owner is refusing to refund any part of the substantial deposit we paid. Very poor form. Im guessing we and our 20 friends who were to stay over the two week period will be staying elsewhere when we can go to Scotland

@Margaret Jolly's Review: At times like this, we must be kind to eachother, I'm neither a friend or foe of the owner but became aware of Castle of Park via the BBC Fake or Fortune episode... Is it good form on your behalf to disregard booking conditions and leave horrid comments despite receiving a decent response from the owner? Here in the UK we are encouraged to support small businesses and 'shop small' as they're the ones who have been hit the hardest and may not be here post lockdown. I on the other hand will be advertising Castle of Park to all my colleagues. If the owner is still Becky from the old Fake or Fortune episode, I'd like to say, there are SO many good people out there so ignore this 1 mean spirited comment, you have been one of my heroes in strength and dignity since watching the episode!
