All of the lodges are different, some in better condition than others. Some have only half of the front decking covered and the wooden floor got wet in the rain, it was slimy and extremely slippy to walk on in that condition. I was in one of those lodges and had a number of near-misses. Obviously a missed detail, and very dangerous. If you plan on using the balconette areas, or are unsteady on your feet, request a fully covered one and be careful on the steps. Also, couldn't adjust the heating as it would be an extra charge and lodge got too hot and stuffy (even though it would be cheaper to turn it down!) Beds uncomfy, "hands free bin" required two hands to open, square toilet seat (????). All in all, does what it claims to do but missing a number of small details to make a really good and not just adequate stay. Luckily it's a beautiful area and we didn't choose it for the accommodation....
