        I visit Ballater twice a year and always go into Rowan's. I always promise myself I won't even look in the window, then, as I look in the window, I promise myself I won't go in. As I open the door I promise myself I won't spend very much . . . . every time! I absolutely love Chris Lewis's jewellery and am building quite a collection. They are always friendly and welcoming and happy to help me try on pieces whilst I decide which to buy. To be honest, it's one of the highlights of my trips up there.

      They are always friendly and welcoming and happy to help me try on pieces whilst I decide which to buy. To be honest, it's one of the highlights of my trips up there.
