Wonderfully renovated , spotless and comfortable cottage. The Molecatchers Cottage has an intergang history and was the home of a local man who , yes, used to catch moles. Lovingly renovated over a two year period by the Norton Family the result is a spacious and very comfortable downstairs living room, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fully setup with every conceivable appliance and included a number of welcome goodies. The living room sits out over a large lawn/garden that parallels the river. The outstanding feature of Carrbridge is the stone bridge that was built in 1717. The cottage is next to this bridge and has a great view. Bedrooms are upstairs and while a little tight for space are comfortable and functional. Carrbridge is a great central location from which to explore the Cairngorms and the Speyside whisky distilleries....we did both and loved it all....and would definitely return.
