Very much enjoyed our stay in pod 2. The Pod was spotless and well stocked with all the cutlery, pots and pans, cleaning products, etc., required for a self catering holiday. The welcome pack of coffee pods, condiments and little butter packs in the fridge was a nice surprise. The pod itself was very warm and cosy despite the near zero temperatures outside (welcome to the Highlands in April). With three tech obsessed kids in tow, the WiFi was satisfyingly reliable, which meant when the card games failed to capture their attention there was Netflix and tinternet on tap. Speaking of on tap, the hot water was near boiling for doing dishes and getting a lovely hot shower (we were very well supplied with towels and even had some left over unused at the end of our stay, which is a near miracle the way the kids go through them). Location-wise, the site was easy to find and handy for local attractions with visits to the Cairngorm Wildlife Park and Aviemore (which has a massive cinema for rainy day entertainment) close at hand. Surprisingly, the Co-Op in Newtonmore proved bigger than the one in further away in Kingussie - we assumed it would be the other way around. Very handy for picking up packs of noodles, for which the kids appear to have an insatiable appetite. Our hosts, Steve and Joan, were great. We got all the information we needed with a nice personal hello from Joan on arrival. Check in was an online breeze. Steve and Joan were entirely unobtrusive but there if we needed them. We also got a surprise visit from a neighbourhood cat called Minnie. She must be the friendliest cat weve ever encountered, full of purrs and affection. At one point on the morning of our departure she found herself on the dashboard of our car. There were some mixed emotions as to whether or not we should cat-nap her back to the Clyde Riviera. There was also a fly-by from two RAF jet fighters. We would like to think Maverick was guest piloting one of them. Probably an every-day thing in the Highlands but still quite a thrill to see a jet whizz past at low level so close you can almost see the whites of the pilots eyes. We all enjoyed our Highland adventure and would not hesitate to return. Thanks to Steve and Joan for facilitating a wonderful Easter break. Safety: Ideal for young kids, tucked away from the closest road (a B road so hardly Clapham Junction).

Just spent the most relaxing, chilled 3 days at Laggan CL Caravan & Motorhome Parking. Such a clean site, very friendly welcoming hosts (thank you Joan & Steven) amazing views, fantastic dog walks in the forest, a 2 acre dog exercise area, home baked pizza of your choice Friday, Saturday, Sunday delivered to your unit! Ill definitely be back - thoroughly recommend. Nearby activities: Wonderful dog walks
