I came into the shop to ask if I could rent a guitar for just a couple of days as I was visiting my grandparents from Canada and wanted to play my 92 year old grandfather a couple of his favourite Scottish folk songs that I had been practicing. They gave me a beautiful acoustic guitar and told me that we would figure out the cost when I returned it, but when I came back and I tried to pay for it the owner told me that he didn't want any money and that he was just pleased that he could make such a special memory happen for us. I tried to insist but he only said "put a fiver into a charity box, that would make me happier". Without Ayr Guitar I never would have been able to see my grandpa tear up while I played him Caledonia, made especially meaningful as I don't know if I'll have the chance to see him again. Thank you so much, it really meant the world

Great guys good selection of accessories and a good variety of guitars. All guys working there are on point and hard to fault
