Returned some items out of the 30 day window, which they were fine to refund me in store credit. I was picking up some other items which I'd paid via paypal for and it was absolutely no hassle for them to refund one of these items too so that I could re-purchase it with the store credit.
By far the friendliest screwfix I've been in.
