Always like Sports Direct, some of the deals are as fake as an Essex bird but otherwise it's good value, I just think for the size of shop they do need a few more staff though. Still worth a visit in 2022 if you need clothes....

Very poor, bad experience with staff, I tried to return an item, handed the receipt to the clerk, then quickly nipped off to try on the new item in the changing room. When I came back to complete the transaction the clerk asked me to provide the receipt. To which I replied that I had already just given it to her. She insisted that I did not give her it only moments before. As it turns out she had the transaction details on her screen, which she got from my receipt whilst I was in the changing room. It was the only method of identifying the transaction since I had not provided any other details to her. She passed the transaction number to the manager as I was insisting that they would have to find the receipt. Or provide a new one as there were other transactions on it. The manager was extremely rude to me and took an aggressive tone of voice with me. He said that I was "making a scene" and that they were trying to sort out the problem and I wasn't helping. However they "were" refusing to process the return which I had just handed the receipt over for to the staff member, and now it had disappeared. The manager was very rude and adopted an aggressive tone with me, he was confrontational and escalated the problem beyond a simple return in a manner that was extremely innapropriate. As soon as the manager adopted this tone with me, I realised that I was dealing with an aggressive and derrogatory incident, so I pulled out my mobile phone and started recording. The mannager immediately disappeared, and my receipt appeared on the floor at my feet. Which I picked up and said, you must have dropped this on the floor dear, when you were typing my details into your system and folding up the clothes on the counter. Sorry about that, but yeah, I do need my receipt. I then left. I was extremely disappointed by this incident and it was a shame because the day before when we bought the items the staff were lovely and in fact had a long and pleasant conversation with us. On two occasions in store, it was the reason I was back in to purchase more items and fix my error on an item that was the wrong size. --- It must be a one off, and i think that sometimes upon reflection, the other person was really nice to us. So I've increased the score and edited this.
