A bit disappointed as the stone ring is literally in the middle of a residential area. If you are looking for a place similar to Stonehenge or Avebury (Wiltshire) then this is bot it. Having said that, the ring has its own charm because of the unique setting- and reflecting on 4000 years of history connected with it adds to its value. Definitely worth stopping on the way to Cairngorm.
