It was lovely enough but I think they were going for the Premier Inn look. Quite minimal room. I didn't like the big mirrored wardrobe doors in front of the bed. Our room wasn't that big. No bottles of water were provided in the room. No box of tissues either. No biscuits for the coffe/tea. Not much was there. They stopped doing scrambled eggs at breakfast because it uses up too many eggs and apparently there was an egg shortage?? f felt everything was a bit rationed? It was nice enough anyway. They didn't put the fire/wood burner on until there were more guests there. Felt they didn't want to waste heating on one couple? Me and my partner were the only ones there for a bit, until more people arrived a day or two later. Walkability: It is just on the road where all the shops are and bus stops and pubs and restaurants within walking distance
