If like us and you are having to decide on placing an elderly relative that is suffering from dementia into a care home then here should be at the top of your list. We had to originaly admit my wifes mother into respite care, though she is now a permanent resident. The change in her was not only remarkable but almost instant. Her peace of mind, and indeed ours is night and day compaired to before. She is safe and sound, eating the fantastic choices of meals very very well, putting weight on, getting involved in all the fun activities run by the home, such as bingo, trips out, sing-alongs etc. This is all down to the fantastic, kind, professional staff that are happy to help not only the residents but visitors too. They are not her carers but her friends... We cannot praise or thank Ashlea Court enough. It is quite simply life changing for the residents and family. Thank you all.
