Smiles-Plus Dental Care

It's hard to give a good review of a place you hate so passionately (dentists overall not this practice) but here goes..... I have had to have some work done recently prior to not having been for about 10 years. Fraser/Frazer is my dentist now and what a dentist he is! Him and the dental nurse he works with are absolutely the best. They both know how terrified I am and put me at ease within minutes.Both have a very caring and patient approach and explain what will be happening in a clear way which makes it less frightening. While I can't say I enjoy my visits I can certainly say that I'm glad I went. I can't rate them both highly enough. Even the ladies who work on reception are fantastic gone gave me excellent advice for managing my pain until I could be seen by the dentist. Overall its 5 stars from me.

Many thanks to Dr Heather Shields and her team for alleviating my 40-odd year fear of dentists; for being non-judgmental about the appalling state of my teeth and for sorting out my problems with slight discomfort but, in all honesty, painfree. Thank you most sincerely.

I have a life long fear of going to the dentist. But I go every six months for a check up because I know Heather understands this fear and does everything possible to make me feel at ease. She has shown me patience and understanding for in excess of 20 years and Im very grateful to have such a supportive dentist.

Very Very unprofessional . Told me to listen carefully to what she had to say,then proceeded to ram a sharp metal dental tool into tooth without a word of warning . When I said something to her about doing this she actually had the cheek to say to me "you didn't listen to me" ..even though she hadn't said a word . If you spent more time doing your job than trying to slag people off aswel then maybe you wouldn't have such a high staff turnaround
