Kildonan Farm Cottages

We have stayed in both of these cottages for holidays on separate occasions. The location is wonderful, with sea views from both sides of the cottages. The host, Elizabeth, is very welcoming and the cottages are very clean, beautifully furnished, comfortable and well-equipped. Both cottages have enclosed gardens and there is further outdoor space with duck pond. There are beaches and walks nearby, and the cottages are within a short drive of Whiting Bay and Lamlash. A most attractive and relaxing place to stay.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Kildonan Farm Cottages. We stayed in Millpond which is super dog friendly. On arrival the dogs were greeted with a lovely welcome pack, and the humans were not forgotten either with a beautiful cake and eggs fresh from the chickens. The cottage was so comfortable with everything we needed, the bedrooms were fabulous with great views of the sea. I would definitely recommend this cottage if you are looking for somewhere dog friendly on the Isle of Arran

We enjoyed a lovely stay in Weavers Cottage which is very clean and comfortable. Elizabeth has thought of everything and the cottage is well equipped with two lovely en-suite bedrooms - one with a wonderful freestanding bath! The farm is in a quiet location, only a five minute walk to the beach and ideally situated for exploring Arran with lots of wonderful walks on the doorstep. We loved watching the resident ducks every morning having their morning swim. The welcome fruit cake was delicious!

We spent a great week in this excellent cottage not far from the beach in Kildonan on the wonderful Isle of Arran.We had a warm welcome and appreciated the essentials and the tasty cake! The cottage was spotless and welcoming, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was modern and well equipped. There is so much to do on Arran that we didn't spend as much time in the cottage as we could have, but we would definitely come back in the future and continue to stay here as a base for visiting friends and exploring the island.
