        The food is absolutely fantastic. I was in Arran for 5 days and stopped in here for lunch twice. This place is worth the detour regardless of where you are on Arran.

        Superb, inventive sandwiches, made with local ingredients, love and flair. Just what you need after cycling halfway round Arran to catch a ferry. Great coffee, too. 2023 UPDATE - Still the best sandwich shop anywhere. An oasis. Don't drive or cycle past it. Very friendly resident Robin.

        Well, I was just expecting some bland cycle fuel but what an amazing menu of sandwiches the hot mackerel and horseradish was so good, I had to order another one for later. Same with the cafe latte! What a welcome surprise having cycled over the hill before breakfast
