Sorry it's taken me so long to post a review of Andrew's work on my T25. I'd been having overheating problems since buying her in 2015, only manageable by keeping the heater full on, even on hot days...! Several Edinburgh area so-called VW specialists had taken a lot of my money without ever fixing the problem, most diagnosing a cooling system leak in the block (one cylinder had low compression). But last year Andrew simply tuned her and adjusted the timing. He really is a proper mechanic, who smiles and chats happily as he explains clearly what needs to be done. Hope to visit Arran again soon for a "check-up"! Best wishes to all the family Andrew, and I hope the knee is better now.

This a highly experienced and meticulous craftsman who has moved his VW T25 engine building operation to the beautiful Isle of Arran, Andrew's attention to detail is outstanding, he recently built me a 2.2i DJ engine with extra power for my beloved VW Caravelle, it is fantastic and has future proofed my camper to continue our future adventures, thank you Campershack

Superb service from start to finish. Supply and fit of 1.9 DG for our bus (who has been in the family for ever) Came all the way from bonny Arran to a wet Derbyshire to give Percy a heart transplant Andrew and Anna were spot on and the engine fired up first time and purrs like a kitten. Very thorough and nothing too much trouble. The van and engine were treated by Andrew as if they were his own and there is not much more you can ask for. Very good value for money for a top class job all round Did not moan (much) even when i supplied them with la tea as opposed to a proper cup of tea.
