        I would love to visit this beautiful place in June or July when the herbaceous border would look fantastic. However, even visiting on 1 May, and bearing in mind we have had a late Spring, there was so much to delight the eye. What a nurtured and loved location. We arrived late in the day and were the only visitors at that time. We received a friendly smile and nod from two people gardening, and were left to enjoy the tranquility of this charming and varied garden. Some wonderful plants as well, well labelled. It says a lot about a place when you are trusted to put your entry fee in the honesty box. There was also an option to take a beautifully designed plan. I would strongly recommend replacing it after use as they must be expensive to produce. A worthwhile and relaxing place to spend time. Very well worth a visit. Not only that, but dog friendly as well.
