Very good. We had poor weather (rainy) and slight swell, so a little bumpy on the outward bound leg but otherwise very informative and pleasant trip. We were provided excellent waterproof jackets and trousers which helped a great deal but be warned that in choppy conditions, non-landing trips will not be great for photographers with longer lenses. The website could use some attention as I thought I was clicking on the landing trip but the book now button under the description for the landing trip just takes you to the seafari booking. Its just not very clear, especially if booking from a mobile device. If interested in the landing trip, I advise calling to book. I would go with them again. The skipper was wonderful and we saw a lot of birds.

Fun trip to see the puffins and other birds. The captain is top notch and knows loads about the surroundings and its inhabitants.

A week or so before our scheduled trip we decided to visit the Isle of May last minute, and I had unintentionally booked the Osprey and I am SO glad that I did! It was a splashy ride over, but that only made the experience that much more exciting and enjoyable. Our skipper Simon was excellent! He was able to tell us so much about the island and we learned a lot from him. Seeing the puffins is of course so magical, and we loved having nearly 2 hours to explore the island on our own. The Isle of May is truly breathtaking, and there is no better way to get there than on the Osprey with the Isle of May Boat Trips. We will absolutely be doing this tour again the next time we visit Scotland. Other notes: They provide weathers so you don't have to worry about getting wet. I am also very very prone to sea/motion sickness and did absolutely fine on the Osprey ride both ways.
