I went for a walk there and I enjoyed it.
It is a short walk past Chapelcross but worth doing.
If you are doing it in the evening as well as in the day time I would recommend walking towards oncoming traffic and wear high visibility clothing so that you can be seen easily as part of the road can be quite busy.
I would recommend a visit to Chapelcross.
