Auchen Castle

Where do I start!!!. My son and daughter-in-law got married at Auchen Castle on 4th April 2023. My daughter-in-law from being a young girl always dreamed of a fairytale wedding in a castle and her wishes came true. Planning a wedding venue you have only seen on the website as we live in England a 3 hour journey away and speaking to planners over the phone must have been a little daunting for my daughter-in-law, but she had every confidence in the team and they blew her expectations of out the water. We stayed here for 2 nights on one of the wedding packages the castle has to offer. Our small intimate party of 20 and 3 small children had the exclusive use of the venue on both days. The grounds were stunning and the castle itself was unbelievable. The entire team from cleaners , management and wedding planners could not do enough for us and went above and beyond their duties to give us the most incredible and unforgettable wedding. The day of the wedding was so emotional for us all not a dry eye to be found when the piper piped the wedding party into the ceremony and seeing my son and his bride marry in a beautiful room will stay with me forever. I must also say thank you to a wonderful registrar who performed the most beautiful service. The food on both days was outstanding along with the rooms which were warm and comfortable. The hair and make up girls and the disco were perfect. So it just leaves me to say a big thank you Auchen Castle for giving my son and daughter-in-law the best fairytale wedding ever.

Hands down, Auchen Castle hosts the best afternoon tea Ive ever had. We had our wedding at the castle so its always nice to come back and visit when we can. The Mothers Day afternoon tea was the perfect opportunity to surprise my wife and to bring our 9 week old daughter to the place that we got married. The food was wonderful, its freshly made and you can tell that the best ingredients are used. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I loved the laid back atmosphere of the acoustic and piano music and it made the experience stand out from all the rest. Bravo Auchen, you never fail to disappoint.

Me and my husband got married at Auchen on the 15th of March and it was perfect from start to finish. The venue itself is beautiful, romantic and intimate. The staff were all super friendly and helpful throughout the whole planning process and they went above and beyond during our stay. The food was also amazing, beautifully presented, and the amount included throughout the day was great. All our guests told us they kept eating after they were full because the food was so tasty. The castle is perfect for a slightly smaller wedding. We had just over 20 people and stayed for two nights. Everyone was blown away and felt right at home. We will definitely go back for an anniversary in the future!
