(Translated by Google) We found this gem at the end of an organized coach tour of Scotland and are really happy about it. Great room, everything was clean, a wonderful bathroom. Breakfast was good. The staff was always nice. Here we have found the peace we have longed for. A pint of Guinness and a good whiskey in the evening in the bar with a magnificent view of a very well maintained country estate. A special thanks to James who keeps this gem well maintained and made our guests have a wonderful stay. Super Zimmer, alles sauber, ein wunderbares Badezimmer .Frhstck gut. Das Personal war immer nett. Wir haben hier die Ruhe gefunden die wir uns ersehnt uns haben. Ein Pint Guiness und einen guten Whisky am Abend in der Bar mit einem herrlichen Ausblick auf ein sehr gepflegtes Landgut. Einen besonderen Dank an James, der dieses Juwel gut instand hlt und uns als Gsten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt beschert hat.

Rooms: We stayed in room 5 which is either a double or twin room, it doesn't have an on suite bathroom, but it has a bathroom immediately opposite, they have maintained a traditional design, however, it would benefit from either an over bath shower or a separate shower cubicle. Food & drinks: We tried the three course option which was tasty and well presented, the Prawn Cocktail, probably deserves a large portion and a rethink on presentation, the steak was tasty and they switched from Chips to Mash for me. The desert was lovely, only some are prepared in-house. Breakfast was excellent for me, plenty of coffee and tea.

This is a stunning country mansion with large bedrooms and impressive public areas. Both the food and service was excellent during our one night stay. My only regret is that we did not spend enough time exploring the magnificent grounds. Rooms: Large and comfortable
