Great stay in our motorhome here. Very welcoming and friendly.. Michael is a really nice and approachable gentleman. I had occasion to request an extension of my stay by 2 nights. This was no problem. If you own a dog (or dogs) this site is a must! I understand there are updates to facilities planned in the closed season and, whilst I appreciate this, the existing facilities are perfectly adequate and maintained. Thank you Michael and Carrie for such enjoyable stays.....I hope to return soon!

Great motorhome stopover/Aire next to the local rugby pitch. Well kept flat sites with ehu and most with hard standing. There is a good toilet block with showers, (2 for each gender) plus sinks for indoor dishwashing. The hard standing was a bit mucky while we were there as it was raining heavily and is a sort of pulverised red ash covered over with matting. Combined with grass cuttings it could get a bit messy however it's a good spot; close enough to the village of Langholm to walk in and a reasonable overnight tariff. The only thing about the area, (Not the site) is that it is not very dog friendly. Your four legged friends are not allowed into the local cafes neither the one next to the site or in the village. On a wet April afternoon, most of the village was closed apart from the Londis and only the Crown Inn was open for refuge and a nice pint of Guinness! It's a nice spot to stop over in a very pretty part of the borders area and with more time...lots of outdoor walks and areas to explore.

Stayed here on the 4th August 2022, fantastic night spent here, Michael was very welcoming even though he was busy keeping the grass and adjacent ground perfectly manicured. Don't be put off with the fact it's at a rugby ground, it's so peaceful when there isn't anyone playing a game or practicing, and I would imagine great to watch if they were Thanks Michael for a perfect night's peace, and a lovely warm shower Paul, Julie and Molly the dog
