Parks looking a bit shabby and could definitely use a good makeover, Bruce's motte and Bailey Castle is really just a small overgrown hill , a very underwhelming piece of Scottish history

Great place seeped in history with a lovely park on Upper Level. Good place to walk your dog. Rumours from youth- the Green Lady a supposed ghost to be seen at a window of house that sits on the east side of the Moat as we used to call it, also a tunnel from somewhere under the motte ( historically correct name ) which is rumoured to run underground to the Town Hall and let's not forget Annan is a Royal Buragh with connections to Rabbie Burns, Bonnie Prince Charlie and King Robert The Bruce who may have used said tunnel for escape purposes I am only surmising here and would be grateful if someone would correct me or provide any information? Cheers
