Galson Farm Guesthouse

This beautiful farmhouse is outstanding. Elaine is such a generous host, her love of the islands is obvious and she willingly shares her recommendations for places to visit. The rooms & house are decorated to a very high standard, & Elaines aesthetic & taste are sympathetic to the Isle of Lewis & their farming heritage. Breakfast was delicious, with a wonderful selection of cold & hot choices. The location on the island is very good and most places are accessible within a 1-2 hr drive - take note there are few main roads so direct routes are not the way on Lewis & Harris.

The most amazing spot right on the Atlantic and Elaine was the most wonderful host. Beautiful accommodation and surrounding right on the beach. The most lovely host and superb breakfasts. Couldnt ask for more.

I am so happy with our stay at Galson Farms. It was the perfect place to end our bike trip through the Outer Hebrides. The hosts, Elaine and Richard, were warm and welcoming, the room was beautifully set up and cozy, the food was delicious, and the surrounding landscape was amazing. We enjoyed every minute of our stay there, especially spending time with other travellers in the red room, and wondering around the property and surrounding area (beautiful views of the ocean, and loved meeting Archie the Ram ). I would go back to Galson in a minute! Thank you for helping to bring our trip to a wonderful end!
