Our family stayed at the Decca for 4 nights and we loved it. The beds were comfy and our room had a view over the fields where the sheep and lambs were. The curtains kept the room dark (which is important in Northern Scotland) so we rested peacefully. The kitchen was great - well stocked with all the needed applicances. The bathrooms were toasty warm during the winter. The Decca is walking distance to one of the BEST kids play parks we have ever been to! It's built into the natural environment of the sand dunes but covered in grass - lots of areas for kids of all ages (ours are 7-9) to run around - swings, zipline, trampolines - plus a coffee hut for the adults (and a toilet)! And it's right on the coastline so you can explore the sandy dunes and see the gorgeous coastline. We were WOW'ed. Our hosts were lovely and explained anything we wanted to know from the best sights to the local foliage and lambing. We had a wonderful stay!!
