I lived at East Dron Farm Cottage back in 1998, which I rented from Farmer Sinclair for 6 months after moving from England. Unfortunately there was a chimney fire like the first night we moved in, that filled the cottage with smoke. (some kind of nest in the chimney if I recall correctly), but we recovered and enjoyed the time there. My son was 2 years old and my daughter was just a few months old at the time. They are now 26 and 24. My son is now a computer programmer, and my daughter is a chef. My son loved everything to do with the farm. He especially loved "the coos" coming back and forth morning and evening, and was tractor crazy. We later bought a home up in Airntully (between Bankfoot and Stanley) and then moved to New York in early 2001. We have fond memories of East Dron, well I do, they don't remember much at all about living in Scotland quite honestly. My daughter was three when we moved across the pond. She loved feeding the horse in Farmer Bryce's field behind our house (Amjay), the farmer's wife, Lorna Bryce I think her name was, (lovely lady) was my dentist in Perth. Good times!
