Parklands Care Home

I was a visitor on Sunday and found one of the staff very unhelpful and rude to me and the lady I was to see. In the end I was told to leave and never come back. Very rude staff

My Stepfather went into Parklands during the first lockdown and on behalf of my Mother (Anne Nash) and the rest of the family we cannot thank them enough for everything they do for George. Due to his illness he can be challenging at times and was never very sociable but Kathleen has been amazing in keeping him entertained and getting him involved in events. She sends Mother photographs and reports all the time and also facetimes and calls her, this really helps Mum a lot in accepting the situation, seeing how content he is. The lockdowns and current situation has been so difficult for everyone but the team go above and beyond. Tatiana & Corrie are always so cheerful when they welcome us and Edna in the office should just be called "No problem" as nothing ever is, she just handles it all in a fabulous way. Thank you Team Parklands, every single one of you - including those behind the scenes that we never see, you have made a very difficult time so much easier for so many people. You are all such wonderful human beings, a blessing to us all. Thanks x

My mother has been in Parklands Care Home in January 2020 it is a beautiful place for my mum to stay. We had viewed a few homes for her but my brother and I decided on Parklands, the staff are all wonderful and have looked after my mum very well and helped her to settle in. Edna who works in reception has been especially good with my mum as she has been a bit upset with us not being able to visit due to the Corona virus she spent a lot of time explaining to her why we can't visit and also Kathleen who facetimes us so we can speak to my mum and also sends photos of the entertainment that has visited outside the home to help keep everyone cheery. We can't thank the staff enough for all their hard work during this really hard time and hopefully it won't be too long until we are back to a wee bit normality. Thank you to you all.xxx
