We reserved a house at the Sauchie development in March 2021 advised the completion date would be between November 2021 and January 2022. This then has been delayed 6 times and is now May 2022. Complete lack of updates other than continues delays and date changes to the move date creating problems for current temporary accommodation, planned deliveries of furniture, storage costs etc.. The continuous delays to completion date have been costly to us and ediston have offered nothing but the same old excuses each time citing shortage of materials. But clearly continue building and completing homes in the development with exception of the plots on our particular street. We received some pressure from ediston to put our house on the market to conclude missives in summer 2021 and shortly after our sale was agreed we received the first delay notification of March 2022. Since then the delays continue and we are advised 19th May 2022, although of this date we have little confidence from the continuous delays to date. Buying a house from ediston has been a disappointing and stressful experience.
