Highland discovery tours

We had booked the Outlander tour, and Andy always gave us the place for the sights, insofar as there was a connection to the series. That was really cool! Andy is absolutely wonderful! I came to Scotland in early January 2023, and his tour was certainly the highlight of my trip. He is incredibly responsive, fair in pricing, and accommodating. In fact, you really cant beat his pricing for a one-on-one private tour, including pick-up and drop-off! My travel had delays which affected my initial time/day I booked with Highland Discovery. Andy was incredibly kind and understanding when I asked if we could reschedule to the following day (we did have winter on our side, but I firmly believe Andy would do what he could to help accommodate anyone!). I appreciate so much Andy coming out to Whitebridge (which is pretty remote with lots of single-track roads) to pick me up early in the morning, to make the most of sunlight hours. He was so informative about everything! On time, reliable, and so friendly! He truly made sure I had an amazing time and accomplished all I had hoped to, and he goes above and beyond - taking amazing photos and videos of/for me and even making a stop at the grocery so I could pick up a few things! Andy even helped me make a list of things to see and in what order on the next leg of my journey to Isle of Skye - and offered his help if I needed it (as a winter storm was coming). He really puts his heart and everything into what it does, and it doesnt go unnoticed - thank you Andy! I know there are a lot of options for guides in the area, but I promise, you will be so happy you booked with Andy! By the end of the tour, he felt like an old friend! I will definitely book again when I come back!

Andy was awesome!! On the first day, we went on the Outlander tour and we had a great time. Andy was knowledgeable about all the sites, the history as well as The Outlander story. We also got to meet his lovely wife. :) During our travels, we told him about the horrible day we had, the day before, when another tour company canceled on us at the last minute, so we didn't make it to Skye. We also asked him how long it took to get to Ft. William and told him we had an 8-hour train ride. He was so generous to take us to Ft. Williams and show us many beautiful sites along the way, instead of taking the 8-hour train. So we ditched the train and took him up on his offer and we had no regrets! We really enjoyed our 2nd day with Andy and got to see some sites that we didn't expect to see. Andy is genuine, funny, polite, and flexible. We feel like we made a new friend. We highlight recommend him if you are looking for a day tour in and around Inverness.

Andy was fantastic. We hired him to take us on a day trip to the Isle of Skye. He knew all of the popular must-see locations as well as some secret destinations that arent as well known, but just as beautiful. We didnt have the best weather, but I could tell Andy really cared and was trying to make sure we still had a great time. He was polite and fun to talk to. The car was comfortable. He did such a wonderful job that my husband and I hired him to take us to some other spots around Inverness a few days later. As an added bonus, he takes great pictures too! I feel like we had a great time, but also made a new friend.
