        Stayed here in September 2020. Great self catering lodge for people who love being in the heart of nature while being a short walk / drive away from the conveniences of a village. Yes, it's not absolutely brand new and perhaps the bathrooms could be treated to a refurb in the next few years, but everything is very serviceable and it's a nice homely place to stay. Don't expect 5 star luxury- but do expect comfortable accommodation with a whole bunch of red squirrels and other wildlife literally outside your front door. Spent many mornings staring out of the glass doors at red squirrels running across the courtyard! What other place comes with it's own private river and waterfall? All backed up by the awesome and thoroughly knowledgeable Brian who is happy to support wherever necessary. Amazing place - would recommend in a heart beat. An unforgettable place to stay.
